The Jatinegara Sub-district Regional Tax Collection Service Unit (UP3D), Wednesday (9/25), mounted stickers to nine tax objects that had not met their obligations.

Jatinegara Sub-district UP3D Head, Raden Bayu Nugroho said before taking action to attach stickers to tax defaulters, his party had taken a persuasive approach with verbal and written warnings. However, until the deadline, the taxpayers ignored it.
"It is one of our efforts to reprimand tax defaulters in Jakarta. This is their obligation to pay on time," he expressed.

His party was gradually attaching stickers to these 27 tax objects, starting from Tuesday (9/24) yesterday until Thursday (9/26).
"Every day, we target nine tax objects to install stickers, from last Tuesday until next Thursday," he expressed.
According to him, the target of the action was not only advertising tax but also other objects, such as hotels, groundwater tax, PBB, and others.
Jatinegara Sub-district UP3D Administration Sub-agency Head, Lilyarliasari Thurmudhy added that of the nine locations targeted today, each was located on DI Panjaitan Street, Jalan Panti Asuhan Timur, Jalan Cipinang Cempedak, Jalan Otista Raya, Jalan Cawang Baru, Jalan Jatinegara Barat, and MT Haryono Square on Jalan Otista Raya.
She mentioned the amount of arrears from these taxpayers varied between Rp 2 and 527 million.
"Hopefully, it can give a deterrent effect and they are willing to pay taxes. If they ignore it, we will summon them," she asserted.
